Our Technological Platform

Reading The Brain Using The Muscles

Our service, Touch Technology®, extracts a unique proprioceptive signature, called the NeuroPrint®, from micro-vibrational patterns in the user’s hands. NeuroPrint® can be detected by sensitive sensors referred to as accelerometers and gyroscopes that are standard in today’s mobile devices. Our solution can be used for various products, for example as a standalone authentication or added to an existing platform for new authentication and encryption functions.

Physiology Protects

is a pioneer in driving the adoption of password-less and single-factor modern authentication that is impossible to be hacked. The quality control system of our motions is a function of the signals generated by our brain to nerves and muscles through our bodies. Each person has a unique nervous system and anatomy — the proprioceptive information is specific to each individual.

No Two Brains are Alike

Even identical twins have differences between their brains and muscles because they learn how to move, walk, sit, fall, and ride a bike separately. Our brains are trained by all of our life’s interactions – building up our neural networks. However, for the motor cortex, those networks are stable after our body reaches its maturity. How stable? Think about phantom pain, individuals need 2-3 years to adapt. Therefore, the proprioceptive system and its data processing linked to the brain are unique to each individual; the result of individual’s physiological and anatomical characteristics combined with life experiences.

Frictionless - Just Touch It!

The NeuroPrint® requires that a live person interacts with the device by holding it in the palm of their hand to identify and authenticate, creating a frictionless experience. We give the sense of touch to mobile and sensor-based devices.

No Cloud - No Password

Aerendir, It’s you® ensures users will be safely authenticated across the many applications on the device, from online payments to the IoT. All computations remain locally on the device, meaning nothing has to happen on the Cloud and no user’s databases are needed. Essentially, the only thing that a personal device will exchange across the Internet is a confirmation to the receiving end: “At this time, I am in the hands of my legitimate human owner.”

What really is Proprioception?

Close your eyes and then try touching your nose with your finger. Without using any of the famous five senses — sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell — you will most likely find your nose. This is proprioception. It’s the reason you can switch from the gas pedal to the brake pedal without looking at your feet or bring popcorn to your mouth without taking your eyes off the movie screen. When we move, our muscles and tendons stretch, which puts tension on the proprioceptor’s membranes. Sensors encode stretches (in muscles & joints), which is evaluated by the brain causing it to fire electrical impulses back to the limb, through the spinal cord. The whole process depends on the person’s neuromuscular anatomy, happening in only a matter of tens of milliseconds.
